This coffee maker is really great with the adjustable temperature for the heating element and the charcoal filter, it makes the coffee taste so much better. No more burnt coffee. I have really hard water and the filters take care of all of that. Truly the greatest coffee maker I have ever owned.
Brews a good cup of coffee, a little slower than our previous Bunn.butworth the wait. Like the programmable feature.easy to use andreliable. Ordered from Abe's of Maine and received 4-5 days later ingood shape. Overall, greatly pleased with the purchase thus far.
I was researching Consumer Reports' ratings of coffee makers and found that this Cuisinart model was rated number 1. After I knew what I wanted to buy, I went online to find the best place from which to buy this gift for my Mother for Mother's Day.The best price and service was found at BensofMaine and so I ordered it from them. The customer service was excellent and I am very pleased with the experience of dealing with Amazon and its marketplace sites.
We bought this coffeemaker based on the Consumers Report ratings and we weren't disappointed. Great Coffee.
Again, not a huge issue, but could have been made easier. Not a huge issue, but I like to clean that part too (so I just wipe it out with some vinegar and a paper towel).
I remember reading a review about the "beep" and how supposedly piercingly loud it was. Brews good coffee, easy to use, and is nice looking.
You can only take the gold filter portion out of the machine to clean and not the cup that the filter sits in. There is a beep when the coffee is ready and another when it is turning itself off, but it is FINE for regular people with less than canine hearing.
I have two complaints though- design features. Also, the lid to the carafe is a bit hard to clean (around the top where the coffee drips in).
Overall, we love this pot and our coffee.
